It seemed a strange decision to wrap up what had, effectively, been the ‘main’ thread of the series halfway through the episode – i.e. We all know that’s going to happen, the test of how good a drama it’s going to be is – will they be able to keep us hooked until all that happens, right at the very end ?Īnyway, Twitter spats aside, what did I make of last night’s finale?
Here’s what I wrote in my review of the very first episode of Safe House:Īt some point the The House will be breached – the crazed killer, we saw last night, will track Jason Merrells’ family down in a terrifying, dramatic finale with Christopher Eccleston throwing his life on the line to save them all and his wife will no doubt get dragged into it as well.
